Photos: The college football world experiences the solar eclipse

The SEC region was treated to some spectacular views of Monday’s total solar eclipse, as the Mizzou, Tennessee, Vanderbilt and South Carolina campuses were all either in or very close to totality zones.

The other schools also got some great views of the rare event, which brought the college football world to a standstill for a short while.

Coaches, players and fans alike donned their special eclipse glasses and looked to the sky to catch a glimpse of the total solar eclipse.

The next coast-to-coast total solar eclipse will happen in 2024, so fans across the nation have plenty of time to prepare themselves for that event.
