Tragedy struck Capitol Hill on Wednesday, as a gunman shot Louisiana representative Steve Scalise and three others while they were practicing for Thursday’s congressional baseball game.
Now in life-threatening condition, Scalise is fighting for his life, but his fellow congressmen and congresswomen showed their support for their colleague at Thursday’s event.
Scalise is from Louisiana and a graduate of LSU, so other congressional members wore LSU hats to show their support on Thursday night:

That’s a classy move by the fellow congressmen. Hopefully Scalise makes a full recovery so he can appreciate the gesture from his colleagues.
