While many Mississippi State fans are fortunate enough to spend Christmas morning with their families, the football team is down in St. Petersburg, Fla. for Monday’s St. Petersburg Bowl game against Miami (Ohio).

While it’s not the same as opening presents with family, the Bulldogs did their best to have Christmas in St. Petersburg. The team’s Twitter account shared a few photos.

Every team that goes to a bowl game receives some gifts from the game, so MSU decided to have its strength coaches dress as Santa and distribute the bowl gifts as Christmas presents:

The St. Petersburg Bowl is set for a 10 a.m. CT kickoff Monday on ESPN.
