Pitt players scuffle with Louisville ball boy after pick-6

The Pitt Panthers were not about to let a pick-6 football go quickly back into circulation Saturday, apparently wrestling with a Louisville ball boy trying to get the prized pigskin to celebrate.

The skirmish started after Pitt defensive back Rasheem Biles stepped in front of a pass from Louisville’s Miller Moss that was intended for Jaleel Skinner – instead taking it 75 yards to the house to put Pitt up 17-0.

Biles clearly was displeased that the football was obtained by a Louisville ball boy and appeared to partner with teammate Isaiah Neal to get the rock back. Biles did manage to gain control again of the football – and broke out a basketball move in the form of a Eurostep into a finger-roll layup alongside the Panthers sideline.

Here’s a look at the scene:

That 17-0 Pitt lead was short-lived, however, as Louisville rattled off 17 straight points to tie it late in the second quarter before Pitt’s Cooper Ranvier kicked a 35-yard field goal to make it 20-17. The Panthers would add a late second-quarter touchdown to take a 27-17 halftime lead.
