Pop-Tarts Bowl mascots crash the party at Week 0 game in Dublin

The Iowa State vs. Kansas State Week 0 game at Aviva Stadium in Dublin on Saturday featured some special visitors.
The Pop-Tarts mascots have been a big hit since the first-ever Pop-Tarts Bowl was held in 2023. That’s the year the Cheez-It Bowl at Camping World Stadium in Orlando changed to its current name.
On Saturday, the Pop-Tarts mascots were spotted in the crowd in Dublin, taking in the Farmegeddon game. Here’s a picture of them below courtesy of the RedditCFB account on X:
The first Pop-Tarts Bowl, edible mascot and all, was a big hit for college football fans. The bowl committee leveled up, with the trophy in 2024 being an actual, functioning toaster.
What other tricks do the Pop-Tarts Bowl organizers have up their sleeves for the 2025 game? We’ll find out closer to the date in December. For now, it’s good to see the beloved mascots across the pond as the 2025 college football season begins.
Things didn’t start strongly between the Cyclones and Wildcats, but the pace picked up in the 4th quarter. Unfortunately, there won’t be any edible mascots or toaster trophies at the end of this edition of the Aer Lingus College Football Classic.
