Jimmy Lake appears to be in trouble following a sideline incident on Saturday night that has led to an investigation.
The Washington coach fired offensive coordinator John Donovan after 13 games, one day after UW managed only 7 first downs in a 26-16 loss to Oregon, Christian Caple of The Athletic reported. He also noted that an investigation into the sideline altercation Lake had with Ruperake Fuavai is ongoing. There are conversations that need to take place, and an update is expected in the coming days.
I’m told the investigation into Jimmy Lake’s sideline altercation with Ruperake Fuavai is ongoing. Still some conversations that need to take place. Should be an update in the next day or two.
