Earlier this season, Mississippi State quarterback Dak Prescott passed Eli Manning on the SEC’s all-time list for career touchdowns responsible for. Now, he’s passed his older brother.
Prescott passed former Tennessee QB Peyton Manning and former Florida QB Chris Leak to move into 4th place with 104 career touchdowns (62 passing, 39 rushing, 3 receiving).
At halftime of tonight’s game against Arkansas, one that Mississippi State currently leads 31-21, Prescott already has 4 TDs (3 passing, 1 rushing).
It’ll be difficult for Prescott to move up any further as he’s 18 TDs shy of another former Gators QB, Danny Wuerffel, for 3rd with only 10 quarters left in the season — including a bowl game.
Here’s a look at that list updated through Prescott’s performance so far tonight.
