Former Florida State star Deion Sanders was one of the biggest personalities ever to play the game of football, and he was an elite cornerback, to boot.
Now, he’s being linked in rumors to his alma mater as a potential member of new coach Willie Taggart’s coaching staff.
During the Independence Bowl on Wednesday, Sanders was on the FSU sideline and addressed the rumors, but didn’t really say much one way or the other:
Deion Sanders, wearing an #FSU letterman's jacket, on speculation that he might join Willie Taggart's new staff: "You never know. I've been known to make big plays with these colors on. That's all I'm gonna say."

Sanders did leave the possibility of joining Taggart’s staff open, and that would be a huge hire for the Seminoles.
Whether or not Primetime actually ends up back at his old school remains to be seen, but it would be a lot of fun to see him back on the FSU sidelines on a more permanent basis.
