Princely Umanmielen, former Florida edge, expects to transfer within the SEC, per report
Princely Umanmielen is leaving Florida, but staying in the SEC, as it was reported that he’s expected to go to Ole Miss.
The Florida defensive lineman played in 36 career games for the Gators with 98 total tackles, 24.5 tackles for loss, and 14.5 sacks over the last 4 years.
If Lane Kiffin can secure the commitment of Umanmielen, the Ole Miss defense could be a problem. Kiffin already locked in a transfer commitment from former Oklahoma defensive back Key Lawrence. The Rebels’ leader in tackles for loss and sacks, Jared Ivey is coming back for another year as well.
The expectation is that former Florida star EDGE Princely Umanmielen is going to transfer to Ole Miss, sources tell @247sports.

The defense in Oxford needs some help this offseason. The Rebels allowed 371.9 yards per game, which ranked 10th in the SEC this season.
Despite the defensive shortcomings for Ole Miss, the team still finished the regular season with a 10-2 record. The Rebels will face Penn State in the Peach Bowl in their 1st ever meeting with the Nittany Lions. That game will take place on Dec. 30.
