Week 8 of college football is in the books following a weekend full of action.
It was a great week for football, and a number of different players were impressive. Two players in particular impressed the team at PFF College Football.
PFF College Football announced the SEC Offensive and Defensive Teams of the Week on Tuesday with just two players receiving a grad above 90. The offense was led by Missouri WR J’Mon Moore who received the highest offensive grade of the week at 91.4. The defense was led by Auburn DE Jeff Holland who was graded out at 92.6.
Moore led the Tigers in receptions and receiving yards in the 68-21 win over Idaho. Moore finished with 11 catches, 174 yards, and a TD in the huge win. He is now second in the SEC in receiving yards with 580 yards on the season.
Holland put up big defensive numbers in the Tigers 52-20 win over Arkansas. He finished the day with 1.5 sacks, 1.5 TFL, two forced fumbles, a fumble recovery, and three tackles. Holland was named a Co-Defensive Player of the Week in the SEC for his performance. He now leads the SEC with eight sacks on the year.
