Purdue is reportedly closing in on its next head coach and it won’t be Les Miles.
According to WTHR.com columnist Bob Kravitz, the Boilermakers are set to name Western Michigan head coach PJ Fleck to the same position:

Fleck, who is only 35 years old, just wrapped up a 12-0 regular season with WMU and has the Broncos in position for a New Year’s Six bowl game assuming they can beat Ohio in the MAC Championship Game.
Western Michigan has won 28 games over the last three years under Fleck, who took over a program in need of direction prior to the 2013 season.
Miles was rumored to be in the mix for the Purdue job for the last few weeks. He has also been tied to Baylor, though recent reports indicate the Bears could hire SMU coach Chad Morris.
