The starting quarterback for Arkansas was one of the bigger storylines heading into the UA-Tulsa game. While some reports during the week indicated that Ty Storey would be able to start, reports emerged later in the week that Storey would not be able to go.

Enter Connor Noland.

A true freshman, Noland was a former 4-star recruit on the 247Sports Composite.  The Greenwood (Ark.) product, measuring 6-2, 207 pounds, originally committed to the previous staff on July 20, 2016, and enrolled at UA in May 2018. He also had scholarship offers from Kentucky, Missouri, Ole Miss and Texas A&M.

At the 10:03 mark in the first quarter against Tulsa, Nolan is 1-of-2 passing for five yards with an interception.
