Deondre Francois has fallen far since emerging as a freshman sensation at Florida State in 2016.
Now, he may be leaving the Seminoles program altogether.
Florida State coach Willie Taggart said Wednesday that Francois is contemplating several options for his future following his junior season. The quarterback seems to have everything on the table right now, from transferring, declaring for the 2019 NFL Draft or staying put in Tallahassee.
Taggart says in Tally that QB Deondre Francois is "weighing his options." Could grad transfer, if he wants, or go pro, or stay.

As a freshman, Francois amassed 3,350 passing yards and 25 total touchdowns while leading the Seminoles to 10 wins, an Orange Bowl victory and a No. 8 final ranking. He entered 2017 as a Heisman Trophy candidate but saw his season cut short by an injury he suffered in the season opener against Alabama.
This season didn’t go much better for Francois, who struggled adjusting to first-year coach Willie Taggart’s wide-open system. He completed just 57.1 percent of his passes for 2,719 yards, 15 touchdowns and 12 interceptions.
His decision could lead to more ACC quarterback turmoil in the state of Florida — on Wednesday, a report surfaced claiming that former 4-star recruit Jarren Williams is transferring from Miami.
