One ex-Tigers player had an interesting response to a recruit’s decision to decommit from Missouri.

James Foster, a three-star QB from Alabama, announced Thursday that he is decommitting from the Tigers. It is unclear where he will decide to go to school, but the decision did come the day after he received an offer from LSU.

Whether or not Foster heads to another SEC school remains to be determined, but one former Tigers player responded to Foster’s announcement. Marvin Zanders responded to Foster’s tweet and told him decommitting from Missouri was a great decision:

Zanders, also a QB, played with the Tigers from 2015-2016 before transferring. He rushed for 198 yards, threw for 114 yards, and scored three total touchdowns while appearing in eight games last season.

Losing a recruit is one thing, but seeing a former player call a recruit’s decommitment the “best decision” will not be a great sight for Missouri fans.
