Quay Wale was ejected from Sunday’s game between the Green Bay Packers and the Detroit Lions after he shoved the opposing team’s athletic trainer. The 20-16 loss marked the second time Walker has been ejected this season, making him the only player in the NFL to be ejected two times this season.
The first time was when he shoved a Buffalo Bills assistant coach on Oct. 30.

The former Georgia linebacker issued an apology Monday morning.
“I want to apologize publicly about what happened Sunday night,” he wrote via Twitter. “I reacted off of my emotions again and take full responsibility of making another stupid decision. Since then I’ve questioned myself on why did I do what I did when the trainer was doing his job!! I was wrong!!”

Packers head coach Matt LeFleur commented on Walker’s actions following the game.
“I’ve got a much higher standard for our players than to do silly things like that,” Packers head coach Matt LaFleur said after the game. “I mean, we’ve had a guy get ejected twice. I don’t think I’ve ever seen that in my career. And we’ve got to be much more mentally tough.”
