It’s a new season and the XFL is back in business after complications during the COVID-19 pandemic halted play.
A blast from the past made his way onto the roster for the Orlando Guardians: Former Tennessee quarterback Quentin Dormady.
Dormady, who played at Tennessee from 2015-2017, Houston in 2018 and Central Michigan in 2019, is listed as the backup QB for the Guardians behind former Florida State QB Deondre Francois.

Dormady threw for 1,282 yards, 7 touchdowns and 6 interceptions during his time on Rocky Top. He was the backup quarterback right before Jarrett Guarantano took over in 2017, lasting until 2020.
The XFL was a lot of fun until it was shut down. Let’s see if the magic is still there this season.
