Quinshon Judkins voices concern over recent contract offers for NFL running backs
Quinshon Judkins has been paying attention to how running backs are trending in the NFL. The position has been decreasing in value as of late in the NFL.
Derrick Henry and other top running backs in the NFL recently spoke out about how the position has seen a decline in value.
Judkins wants to prove how versatile he is to NFL scouts. Judkins spoke with ESPN’s Heather Dinich about this.
“I just want to be seen as a guy who can really do it all,” he said. “You don’t have to just run the ball with me, rushing. You can use me all over the field. I can throw the ball, catch it, whatever you need.
I’ve seen the things that they’ve done with the running back position and the contracts and the things in the NFL that the running backs are dealing with.”
Judkins led the SEC in rushing yards last season with 1,567. He also found the endzone 17 total times.
Adding to his game as a pass-catcher would definitely do him some favors. This would be especially true if Judkins can continue to put up numbers similar to last season.
Ole Miss opens its 2023 campaign against Mercer on Sept. 1. That game will be on ESPN+ at 2 p.m. ET.
