It was a weak slate of games in the SEC during Week 13, but there were some good games nationally in some great environments.

Looking back at Saturday’s schedule of games, let’s take a trip around the country to the five best environments in Week 13:

1. Harvard Stadium, Harvard

Let’s give some love to the Ivy League. ESPN’s “College GameDay” was on site for The Game, and what a game it turned out to be. A late touchdown pass and an interception sealed the game for the Crimson, who finished the season 10-0 as Ivy League champions. 2,507,892 fans have attended the oldest rivalry in college football at Harvard Stadium since the Crimson and Bulldogs first met in Cambridge in 1903.

 2. Neyland Stadium, Tennessee

It wasn’t a sold out crowd, but more than 90,000 orange and white clad fans packed into Neyland Stadium to see a classic between Missouri and Tennessee. Joshua Dobbs led the Volunteers back to within late, and it looked as if Tennessee would have a chance to tie the game when it recovered an onside kick. A quirky end-of-game sequence coupled with a questionable challenge by Butch Jones, though, sealed the game for Mizzou. It won’t be football time in Tennessee again until 2015, however.

 3. Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium, Arkansas

The weather conditions were less than desirable, but the crowd was electric in Fayetteville on Saturday afternoon as Arkansas dominated Ole Miss, 30-0. An announced crowd of 64,510 braved the elements to see the Hogs pitch a second consecutive shutout, leading to a party.

 4. Doak Campbell Stadium, Florida State

Just days after a horrific tragedy on the campus of Florida State, the Seminoles hosted Boston College in front of more than 80,000 fans on a rainy Tallahassee day. The nation’s third-ranked team had its hands full, but escaped with a win on a day in which Florida State legend Burt Reynolds planted the spear at midfield prior to kickoff.

 5. McLane Stadium, Baylor

Baylor blacked out McLane Stadium on Saturday afternoon, and a crowd of 47,179 — second largest in stadium history — saw the Bears down Oklahoma State. The new home of the Bears is one of the most picturesque views in all of college football, and Bryce Petty continued his torrid pace. This sets up a huge game against Kansas State in Waco in two weeks. Will the home field advantage benefit the Bears on the first Saturday in December?
