Cyrus Jones is returning to Baltimore.

After being on the Baltimore Ravens’ practice squad earlier this year, Jones was claimed off waivers by the team on Monday. On Saturday, the cornerback was released by the New England Patriots, who signed him off the Ravens’ practice squad earlier this season.

Jones, who played at Alabama, was a second-round pick of the Patriots in the 2016 NFL Draft. He had eight tackles in 12 games as a rookie in 2016 before missing all of last season with a torn ACL. The former Tide defensive back has one tackle in two games this season.

Jones may be serving as the Ravens’ kick returner as the team released receiver/returner Tim White to make room for Jones on their roster.
