Rebels hold at No. 3 in both Coaches, AP poll

The magic in Mississippi continues.

Following a 15-point road win at Texas A&M, Ole Miss improved to 6-0 and finds itself squarely in the hunt for the inaugural College Football Playoff.

In this week’s Amway Coaches Poll, the Rebels held steady at No. 3. Ole Miss received 1,436 points; 63 points behind No. 2 Florida State. The Rebels also received five first place votes.

In the latest Associate Press Top 25, the Rebels also held at No. 3. Ole Miss received 1,413 points; just two points behind No. 2 Florida State. The Rebels also received three first place votes.
