Recently deceased Arkansas high school football player Kyler Williams has award renamed after him

The Northwest Arkansas Touchdown Club has changed the name of its player of the week award to honor Kyler Williams, who died in a car accident Sept. 24.
The NWA TD Club announces that the HS Player of the Week Award will be named the Kyler Williams Player of the Week Award

Williams was a senior wide receiver at Springdale High School in Springdale, Arkansas. At his weekly Monday news conference two days following the teen’s death, Razorbacks coach Bret Bielema got emotional while recalling a picture he took with Williams a few weeks earlier.
