Recently dismissed Texas A&M player JJ Caldwell issues apology

If you missed the news over the weekend, Texas A&M dismissed redshirt freshman JJ Caldwell from the program following a violation of team rules. Fellow freshman Jay Jay Chandler was suspended indefinitely but not dismissed from the Aggie program.

It turns out Caldwell had been arrested for marijuana possession. He had been averaging 2.9 points, 2.6 assists and 1.9 rebounds per game off the bench for the Aggies before his dismissal.

Monday, Caldwell issued an apology to his family, coaches, teammates and the A&M fans for his actions:
