In 2011, CBS Sports billed the Alabama-LSU matchup as the “Game of the Century.” Saturday’s matchup may be the “Tiger Stadium Game of the Century.”
According to LSU Sports Information Director Michael Bonnette, there will be more media in attendance at Tigers Stadium than any other in LSU football history.
We are now less than 24 hours from kickoff between @LSUfootball and Alabama. There will be more media covering this game than any other game in Tiger Stadium history. #LSU

With both Alabama and LSU in the first College Football Playoffs Top 4 rankings on Tuesday, a big crowd should be expected. The game will not only have major implications in the SEC but also the entire college football playoff picture.
The Crimson Tide will clinch the SEC West with a victory. An Alabama win will also pretty much eliminate LSU from the College Football Playoffs because the Tigers will not be able to win the SEC and will already have two losses.
But should LSU win, the Tigers will be in the driver’s seat to win the SEC West with three weeks to go.
