Recruiting expert names the 15 teams who can win 2022 national championship

247Sports college football recruiting expert Bud Elliott has revealed his list of 15 teams who have a chance of winning national championship in 2022.
Elliott used his Blue-Chip Ratio method to determine the teams that have the talent to win the national title. The Blue-Chip Ratio identifies the teams who recruited the best prospects over the last 4 seasons. Elliott points to a team needing a roster of 50% or more 4-star or 5-star recruits to win a national championship.

On the list of 15 teams, 6 SEC schools made the list:
- Alabama – 89%
- Georgia- 77%
- Texas A&M- 70%
- LSU- 66%
- Florida- 60%
- Auburn- 54%
Alabama was the highest school on the list, with an 89% blue-chip roster. Georgia checked in at No. 3 with a 77%, behind Ohio State’s 80%.
Texas A&M had the fifth-best percentage (70). Brian Kelly’s first LSU squad is No. 7 at 66%. Billy Napier’s first Florida team is No. 10 with a 60% blue-chip roster. Auburn is No. 15 with 54%.
