Redskins draft another SEC defender, welcome Arkansas LB Martrell Spaight
The Washington Redskins are fans of SEC pass rushers and expert tacklers.
After grabbing Mississippi State’s Preston Smith on Friday, Washington landed another premiere defender from the conference on Saturday, picking up Arkansas linebacker Martrell Spaight in the fifth round at No. 141 overall.

Some thought Spaight may go undrafted, but his instincts and natural ability at the position was too much to ignore. Spaight joins fellow front seven running mate Trey Flowers as Day 3 Arkansas draft picks.
