Ref takes football to the groin during Kentucky-Vanderbilt game; doesn’t even flinch

When you’re a referee, the job is fraught with peril. There are some large men moving at high rates of speed all around you.
There have been numerous instances of refs getting trucked by players who don’t see them in their path.
During Saturday’s Kentucky-Vanderbilt game, though, we saw a different occupational hazard from the officiating ranks. As you can see below, an unlucky ref took a football to the groin:

The impressive part is that the ref doesn’t even flinch. He finished letting everyone know that the pass that hit the ground and then his groin was, in fact, incomplete.
That’s true dedication to the art of refereeing.
