Super Bowl champion Reggie Ragland leaving Kansas City after landing NFL contract

Reggie Ragland’s time in Kansas City has come to an end.
The former Chief linebacker could not have asked for a much better run in Kansas City as he collected a Super Bowl ring by the end of the 2019 season and now he’s being rewarded for his efforts on the field with a new contract.
According to Jeremy Fowler of ESPN, Ragland has agreed to a contract with the Detroit Lions. Ragland made seven starts for the Chiefs last season and appeared in 14 regular season games and all three of the team’s postseason games.
Ragland finishes his time in Kansas City after making 32 starts and 42 total appearances in three seasons. During that time, Ragland registered 160 tackles, 10 tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks, one interception and one defensive touchdown.
The former Alabama linebacker played in Tuscaloosa from 2012-2015, where he collected 220 total tackles, defended 10 passes, four sacks, forced two fumbles and had one interception.
