The last pick of the NFL Draft is dubbed Mr. Irrelevant. In 2020, Mr. Irrelevant was former Georgia linebacker Tae Crowder. Good luck finding a New York Giants player who considers Crowder to be “irrelevant.”
In a recent Giants practice, Crowder showed off his combination of speed and physicality, delivering a big hit to take down running back Wayne Gallman in a tackle for loss. Jomboy Media’s Bobby Skinner shared a clip of the hit, getting the attention of Glenn Schumann.

With the right coaching, Crowder should continue to develop. He had an offensive background in high school and the start of his UGA career until a position change to linebacker in 2016. Over the last two seasons as a starting Bulldogs linebacker, Crowder did a little bit of everything accumulating 115 tackles, 10 TFL, 1.5 sacks, 6 quarterback hurries, a forced fumble, fumble recovery, 2 interceptions and 5 pass breakups.
