One of the surprise storylines of National Signing Day has been Jarez Parks, a 4-star defensive end out of Sebastian, Fla.

Parks, the No. 93 overall recruit on the 247Sports Composite, had a signing ceremony scheduled this morning. He revealed, in tears, that he was delaying his decision amid social media chatter that Alabama had run out of spots in its class.

At the time, Florida and Florida State were thought to be the other two schools in the running with Alabama. A new report, however, states that two new SEC schools are entering the mix.

Ryan Bartow of 247Sports is reporting that Auburn, Baylor, Miami and Georgia have all reached out to Parks after the news of his delayed decision.

Parks is rated No. 7 weak-side defensive end and No. 17 Florida recruit.
