According to AL.com, citing sources, Alabama senior cornerback Bradley Sylve broke his hand during Saturday’s scrimmage and had surgery Sunday.
Sylve is still expected to be able to suit up for the Crimson Tide in the opener against Wisconsin.
The senior corner has made four starts in the last two seasons and made eight tackles in 2014.
Alabama’s secondary is one of the most talked about positions over the last few years, and the veteran Sylve will be counted on this season.
