The Alabama Crimson Tide are losing a graduate assistant from their 2019 staff to the NFL ranks.

Per a report from AL.com’s Matt Zenitz, former Alabama S Vinnie Sunseri, who served as a grad assistant under Nick Saban last year, is on the move to the New England Patriots.

Per Zenitz, Sunseri will be a member of the Patriots’ support staff in 2020:

Sunseri was a fifth-round pick in the 2014 NFL Draft and played 3 seasons in the NFL, spending time with the New Orleans Saints, New England Patriots and San Francisco 49ers.

Sunseri’s father, Sal Sunseri, is currently Alabama’s linebackers coach. He served in the same role at Alabama from 2009 to 2011.
