Alabama is losing some depth along its offensive line ahead of fall camp.

Veteran redshirt sophomore center Brandon Kennedy will become a graduate transfer, according to a report by AL.com’s Matt Zenitz. The 6-foot-3, 305-pound center is from Wetumpka, Alabama, and he missed a portion of last season due to a leg injury.

Kennedy has played in 10 career games for Alabama, and he was the second-team center this spring. He joins former fellow Tide lineman Dallas Warmack as transfers after spring football. Losing Kennedy isn’t terrible news, but no doubt, the Tide’s depth has taken a hit.

Kennedy was rated a 4-star prospect, and he ranked as the nation’s No. 19 overall OG and the state’s No. 10 overall prospect exiting high school in the class of 2015, according to 247Sports Composite Rankings. He’ll have two years to play at another program following his transfer.
