Alabama’s offensive line depth took a hit this week when the backup center suffered a broken leg in practice on Tuesday, AL.com’s Matt Zenitz reported.

The redshirt sophomore was a backup guard and played in seven games in 2016. He first played against Southern Cal in the 2016 season opener with six snaps off the bench in the fourth quarter. Kennedy practiced with the first team offense last week before the Texas A&M game.

This season, he played in three of the Crimson Tide’s first six games.
