While it is hard for most college football teams to picture a 10-2 season as a disappointment, that is exactly where Alabama is at the conclusion of the 2019 season.

The Crimson Tide has missed out on the College Football Playoff for the first time since its inception, and reports have come out on where Alabama will be playing its postseason football now that a national championship is out of the question. And it’s a big-time matchup against Michigan.

The news was first reported by Brett McMurphy of Stadium.

Michigan finished out the year at 9-3, and there could be mounting pressure on Jim Harbaugh to win this game as the Wolverines have not reached the heights they expected when they hired the former Michigan quarterback.

In the Nick Saban era, Alabama has not always performed well in bowl games that don’t have an impact on the national championship picture. This will be a fun matchup between two blue-blood college football programs.
