After playing for Bret Bielema and Chad Morris, a former Arkansas walk-on is looking to finish his college football career elsewhere.

According to Trey Biddy of HawgSports.com, Razorback safety Brenden Young has entered his name into the NCAA transfer portal. Biddy notes that Young is looking for playing time as a graduate transfer.

Young first played at Ouachita Baptist in 2015. He joined Arkansas as a walk-on in 2017, playing in five games on special teams as a sophomore. In 2018, Young recorded a total of 25 special teams snaps, appearing in two games. Former coach Chad Morris awarded Young a scholarship at the end of fall camp (Aug. 22), ahead of the start of the 2019 season.

The Arkansas website has not updated Young’s stats for the 2019 season, but ESPN shows Young recorded tackles in the LSU (1 assisted) and Mississippi State (2 solo) games.
