Arkansas reportedly fired coach Chad Morris on Sunday morning following Saturday afternoon’s embarrassing home loss vs. Western Kentucky.

Now, the team will try to move on and build positive momentum in the final 2 games of the season before hiring Morris’s replacement.

As the Hogs move forward, Barry Lunney Jr. has been named the interim head coach, according to a report by 247Sports.

Lunney was the tight ends coach and special teams coordinator on Morris’s staff. He’ll have to guide the Hogs through games against LSU and Mizzou.

Arkansas is off next weekend before heading to Baton Rouge on Nov. 23. The Razorbacks are currently 2-8.
