Published:
Auburn freshman CB Jayvaughn Myers injured his knee in practice this week and will now miss the rest of the 2016 season, according to a 247Sports report.
A three-star recruit out of high school, the cornerback will undergo season-ending knee surgery on Thursday.
Myers will likely take a redshirt this year and maintain four years of eligibility when he’s ready to play again next season.
Auburn coach Gus Malzahn has yet to confirm the report.
