Report: Backup South Carolina defensive back Toure Boyd no longer with the team

South Carolina’s depth in the defensive backfield took a hit this week as redshirt junior Toure Boyd is reportedly no longer with the team and is planning to transfer.
The news of Boyd’s intentions was first reported by Tony Morrell of The Big Spur.
Boyd was a three-star junior college transfer in the 2015 recruiting class and only saw action against UCF last season before being declared a medical redshirt.
For this season, Boyd is only credited with a single tackle, which he registered against Mississippi State.
