Things are over before they ever got started for Clemson transfer Jake Fruhmorgen, according to Scout.com’s Bob Redman.
Fruhmorgen enrolled at Florida less than a week ago, and he’s already left the Gators’ program and will reportedly quit football altogether. The offensive tackle was officially announced by Jim McElwain Monday as joining the program. Florida has yet to confirm Redman’s report.

Fruhmorgen was a part time starter for the Tigers at offensive tackle, but injuries slowed his career. He’s originally from Tampa, Florida, and it’s unknown why he walked away from the program and football at this time.
Should Fruhmorgen have stuck with the Gators’ program, he would have had to sit out the 2017 season due to NCAA transfer rules.
