A spring break trip to Florida went horribly wrong for two Texas college football players.
Texas A&M-Commerce released a statement late Saturday night saying that two of the school’s football players were being treated in a Miami hospital after being robbed and shot while on spring break in South Florida.
The school’s release is scarce on details, per WFAA, not identifying the players or offering any information on their conditions. The Saturday night statement from the school said that Texas A&M-Commerce head football coach David Bailiff and athletics director Tim McMurray were both traveling to Florida to be with the players and their families.
