It seems like only recently that ESPN laid off many of its popular employees, but already, the company is bracing for another round of cuts.

According to a report by SportingNews.com, the cuts could happen as soon as the end of next month, with as many as 60 positions in line to be affected.

A source with knowledge of the ongoings at ESPN told Sporting News that some high-profile personalities could be in the line of fire this time around:

“This time it won’t matter if you’re ‘liked’ or not. It’s not going to be pretty,” one source warned.

We’ll have to wait and see what happens, but it sounds like a nervous time to be around ESPN right now.

Whether it affects college football coverage remains to be seen, but it sounds like the cuts will be wide-ranging.
