Jefferson was one of many Gators injured in the 31-10 loss to Arkansas. Linebacker Alex Anzalone is lost for the year with a broken arm. Jefferson joins quarterback Luke Del Rio, center Cam Dillard, linebacker Jarrad Davis and running back Mark Herndon on the sidelines for this weekend’s game against the Gamecocks.
It’s also feasible to think receivers Tyrie Cleveland and Chris Thompson will be unavailable.
On the year, Jefferson has accrued 19 tackles, 3.0 tackles-for-loss, and five quarterback hurries.
