Report: Florida RB Malik Davis out for second half of Georgia game
By Paul Harvey
Published:
Florida is in a tough spot against Georgia, and it looks like the Gators will be without one of their running backs for the rest of the game.
Florida RB Malik Davis had four carries for 20 yards in the first half, but he left due to an injury. Shortly after the start of the second half, it was announced that Davis had returned to the field in street clothes with a brace on his knee.
The Gators were shutout in the first half and are in a big hole after allowing 21 points in the first quarter. Florida has moved the ball well on the ground, but it was the passing game that gave the Gators issues. Still, losing Davis will definitely be a blow to the offense.
