Over the past few days, we’ve seen a number of NFL stars decide to opt out of the 2020 season due to COVID-19 concerns.

On Saturday, another former SEC standout added his name to the list of players who won’t be participating this fall.

Per ESPN’s Rich Cimini, New York Jets LB CJ Mosley — a former Alabama defender — will take the 2020 season off amid the pandemic:

Mosley was set to enter his second year with the Jets. He only played 2 games last season for New York, recording 9 tackles and returning an interception for a touchdown before he went down with a season-ending groin injury.

Mosley was the No. 17 overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft. He spent the 2014-2018 seasons with the Baltimore Ravens before heading to the Jets last season.
