Report: Former Arkansas, Florida QB Feleipe Franks signs undrafted free agent contract with NFL team

Former Arkansas and Florida quarterback Feleipe Franks has a landing spot in the NFL.
Franks went undrafted, but was picked up by the Atlanta Falcons on the free agent market. That’s according to a report from NFL insider Tom Pelissero:

This is a great landing spot for Franks, as the Falcons don’t currently have a backup quarterback behind Matt Ryan. Even if Atlanta signs another free agent to compete for the backup job, Franks should be in the mix.
Franks is coming off a successful season with the Razorbacks. He led Arkansas to a better-than-expected 3-7 record. Prior to last season, the Razorbacks hadn’t won a conference game since 2017.
He completed 68.5 percent of his passes for 2,107 yards and 17 touchdowns. He threw just four interceptions and also ran for 204 yards and another score.
Franks also had an accomplished career at Florida. He played three years for the Gators, completing 59 percent of his passes for 4,593 yards and 38 touchdowns over that span.
