Former South Carolina star S DJ Swearinger has moved around a lot during his NFL career, never spending more than 2 seasons in a row with the same team.
Since entering the league as a second-round pick in the 2013 NFL Draft, he has played for the Houston Texans, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Arizona Cardinals, Washington Redskins, Cardinals again, Oakland Raiders and New Orleans Saints.
Now, he’s landed a contract for the 2020 season. Per NFL insider Ian Rapoport, Swearinger is staying with the Saints on a 1-year deal worth just over $1 million:
The #Saints added more than Malcolm Jenkins in the secondary, signing DJ Swearinger to a 1-year, $1.1M deal.
