Report: Former Kentucky QB Freddie Maggard resigns from Wildcats’ support staff

Last year, former Kentucky QB Freddie Maggard accepted a position on Mark Stoops’ staff as the director of player development.
Now, just over a year after taking the position, he has reportedly resigned his post and will explore other opportunities.
Per a report from 247Sports, Maggard has officially resigned from the Kentucky staff:
Former Kentucky quarterback Freddie Maggard has resigned from his position as director of player development, a school spokeswoman confirmed to Catspause.comon Saturday. Maggard was officially announced as the director of player development on April 27, 2018.
Kentucky is looking for Maggard’s replacement. Prior to him taking the job with the Wildcats, he worked as an analyst and in media.
