Former Mizzou OL Connor McGovern got to block for former Mizzou QB Drew Lock with the Denver Broncos for part of last year.
However, that setup won’t continue into 2020, as the former Tiger offensive lineman has found a new team and landed a big contract.
Per Tom Pelissero, McGovern will be heading to the New York Jets, where he’ll make $27 million on a 3-year contract:
The #Jets are signing former #Broncos C Connor McGovern to a three-year, $27 million deal that includes $18M fully guaranteed, per source.

McGovern has been with the Broncos since he entered the NFL as a Round 5 pick in the 2016 NFL Draft.
Now, he has a contract that guarantees $18 million, so he’s off to the Big Apple. We’ll see how he does with the Jets this fall.
