After retiring at the end of the 2016 season, former Vanderbilt QB Jay Cutler planned to spend the 2017 season in the broadcast booth working for FOX.

However, his plans quickly changed when Miami Dolphins QB Ryan Tannehill suffered a knee injury a few days ago.

Now, Cutler is heading to South Beach, according to reports, on a one-year, $10 million deal:

Cutler was the No. 11 overall pick in the 2006 NFL Draft, spending the first three years of his career with the Denver Broncos before playing for the Chicago Bears for the last eight seasons.

In 11 seasons, Cutler has thrown 32,467 yards and 208 touchdowns to go with 146 interceptions.
