Georgia’s linebacker depth for the Liberty Bowl against TCU has taken a hit as junior linebacker Shaun McGee is reportedly planning on transferring from the Bulldog program.
According to Seth Emerson of Dawg Nation, McGee confirmed his transfer via text message. McGee has yet to decide where he will transfer.
McGee was a three-star member of Georgia’s 2013 recruiting class. After redshirting in 2013, McGee’s key contributions to the program came on the scout team defense the last two seasons.
